Did you know that there are over 1,400 species of bats worldwide, making up around 20% of all classified mammals!? Why not come along and help us celebrate this amazing group of animals.

With bat-themed talks and activities throughout the day, the zoo will then re-open at 6:30PM for an evening of everything BAT!

Re-open between 6:30PM and 9:30PM, there will be BBQ food, native bat tours (guided by bat detectors), bat box building, bat crafts and the chance to meet some very special bats!

Tickets will only be available on the door, at the standard entrance price!

Help us beat the negative stereotypes surrounding this amazing group of animals, a percentage of proceeds will be donated to charities supporting these wonderful creatures.
